The Vadose Zone Laboratory

The Coretest Systems URC-628 Ultra Rock Centrifuge is used to measure capillary pressure saturation and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity functions on rock and soil samples.

The Bookhaven Instruments BI-XDC Particle Sizer, which is used to measure soil and sediment particle size distributions within the range of 10's of microns down to 10's of nanometers.
